چکیده
The objective of this work was to analyze the effect Thidiazuron (TDZ) treatment on floral initiation, flowering time, ornamental characteristics and physiological metabolism potted Dendrobium nobile. Three TDZ concentrations (200, 500 1000 mg L−1) were applied as solution water root zone plants. Control plants (plants watered with water) showed a good vegetative development but no branches. greatly influenced process. For all tested concentrations, first flower bud occurred at 55–60 days after last irrigation (DAI), highest concentration showing major delay in its occurrence. initial (30% flowered plants) began 47 initiation statistical differences among treatments. Plants treated 500–1000 L−1 longest period (about 32 days) single flowers delayed withering about 2–3 compared lowest (200 L−1). number flowers, branches percentage distinctly by concentration. (40%) scored when performant providing best morphological features for value plant. Among factors affecting flowering, study that increased relative membrane permeability which facilitated transport macromolecular flower-forming substances into out membrane. Therefore, change could be an indicator shifts physiologically active during transition process nobile

Protective effects of Dendrobium nobile Lindl. alkaloids on amyloid beta (25–35)-induced neuronal injury
Dendrobium nobile Lindl. alkaloids (DNLA), the active ingredients of a traditional Chinese medicine Dendrobium, have been shown to have anti-oxidative effects, anti-inflammatory action, and protective effect on neurons against oxygen-glucose deprivation. However, it is not clear whether DNLA reduces amyloid-beta (Aβ)-induced neuronal injury. In this study, cortical neurons were treated with DNL...
متن کاملGenetic stability and phytochemical analysis of the in vitro regenerated plants of Dendrobium nobile Lindl., an endangered medicinal orchid
An efficient genetically stable regeneration protocol with increased phytochemical production has been established for Dendrobium nobile, a highly prized orchid for its economic and medicinal importance. Protocorm like bodies (PLBs) were induced from the pseudostem segments using thidiazuron (TDZ; 1.5 mg/l), by-passing the conventional auxin-cytokinin complement approach for plant regeneration....

In vitro asymbiotic seed germination of Dendrobium chrysotoxum varied with fruit harvesting time and culture medium used for germinating seeds. Seeds at different developmental stages were harvested and cultured on five asymbiotic orchid seed germination media i.e. defined and undefined media, namely 1⁄2 MS, KC, M, MS and PDA. Seeds harvested 220 days after pollination showed maximum germinatio...

Dendrobium nobile Lindl., an epiphytic herb distributed in the Southeast Asia, is used as a tonic and antipyretic herbal medicine in China. In this study, a water-soluble acidic heteropolysaccharide, DNP-W4, containing mannose, glucose, galactose, xylose, rhamnose, and galacturonic acid, in the molar ratios of 1.0:4.9:2.5:0.5:1.0:0.9, was obtained from the stems of Dendrobium nobile Lindl. متن کاملIsolation and characterization of novel EST-SSRs in the showy dendrobium, Dendrobium nobile (Orchidaceae).
Expressed sequence tag (EST)-derived simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers could enrich the current resource of molecular markers. In this study, microsatellite markers were developed for Dendrobium nobile Lindl. by mining the ESTs. Twenty-eight EST-SSRs amplified 2 to 6 nucleotide repeats with a mean number of 2.82 alleles per locus. The observed and expected heterozygosities per locus ranged f...
